As 2019 comes to an end and we get ready to embrace 2020, I would like to take a moment to appreciate the wonderful ladies who made this year extra special by their stupendous writing and super amazing talent!
Many of the stories below are on Wordpress or other platforms, so I haven’t provided a link. Not sure if IF allows posting bloglinks. But if anyone’s interested, feel free to drop me a PM.
Blue dust by Sohni
Kehne ko toh it’s a sequel to her first story One day at a time (ODAAT), but it has a life of its own. Sohni’s stories aren’t mere tales, they are experiences to belived. Her writing has the ability to make me forget AD and take me to the la-la land of SKD. Anyone who has read ODAAT know what I am talking about (btw, she has started reposting ODAAT as well!) Witty writing and mesmerizing narration. What can I say about a story that leaves me craving for more after every update?! Afeemi writing, as I love to call it. Her Arnav Chauhan & Neel Mathur are going to be the death of me some day!! A must must must read!!!! Love you loads Sohniye 😘😘😘
Withered by Fe-en-dios
An intriguing tale about Arnav, an upcoming politician who is truly, madly, deeply and hopelessly in love with Khushi. But when has love ever been easy? Add to it a mix of conniving politicians and distressing circumstances. With complex pasts and turbulent present, this tale offers a promising future.

After first few chapters, the story is moved to a blog.
Untold stories by Sabi or Saucechips
…or AnExIPKWriter 😁 I can’t begin to express how happy I was after knowing the author of Unexpectedly Expected has made a comeback! UE & cement pile has brightened a lot of gloomy days. But Untold Stories is nothing like UE. Well, it does have its moments and hint of madness that we love so much. But the story essentially addresses some of the social issues and the effect it has on people dealing with them. Very well written story 👌🏼
Prescribed Insanity by Sabi/Saucechips
Hilarity at it’s best! Period. From dental woes to a beautiful, sanki dentist and from a stir-crazy “Gupt” family to a detective Nani, this story has it all. Oh, and not to forget Tommyji and his MJ. Basically, this story has everything that a doctor would prescribe for a laughter therapy!
Sea Mist by Charlotte/Kavitha
Speaking of making a comeback, after giving us wonderful stories like “Desert Rose”, “Valley of flowers”, “Monsoon rain” and “Harvest moon” we had Charlotte/Kavitha come back with another gem - “SeaMist”
The story is full of twists and turns and undeniable chemistry between the protagonists. I remember going crazy trying to unravel the mystery with my fellow readers and coming up with all sorts of theories, putting Holmes to shame 😆

Entangled by Jigs
A modern-day fairytale, complete with Rajkumar and a Rajkumari. The blog is private now, but if it ever opens again, then it's not to be missed!
Listed by Jigs
Arnav, Khushi, New York, roll, camera….action!! Enough said 😉
The Me Within by Sandya
Sometimes, all we need is a jhatka to realize what and how much you have taken someone for granted. The “D” word may have thrown their lives into a frenzy but looks like it’s also the one that will finally manage to break the walls that Arnav & Khushi have built around themselves. Sandya has done a fabulous job of penning a story that is so relatable to “Arnav”s and “Khushi”s in real life.

Birds of a feather by Archi
The story starts off with an “arranged” marriage between two people who seemingly want nothing to do with each other. But as the story progresses and facts are revealed, one realizes they and their circumstances are not as different from each other as they thought they were.
I recently finished reading Archi’s earlier work – “Silent Whispers”. She is extremely good at writing about complex emotions and characters. Can’t wait to read what she has planned for BOAF!
Second Chances by Mirabell
This lady brings out emotions like no other. The pain feels real. My heart goes out to little Mira every single time she talks about her Appa. A second chance for Arnav & Khushi and also for readers like me, who have missed reading it for the first time it was posted.
Colour me in love by Ezther
Tight plot and brilliant narration. Khushi is total kick-ass.One of those rare stories where I love Khushi as much as Arnav, if not more. I am surprised this story doesn’t have as many comments/followers as it deserves.

Tangled by ErisedWitch45
Destiny brought them together, but will conspiracy drive them away? Another story with a strong Khushi who is not afraid to take the bull by its horns, personally or professionally.
Charade by phati-sari
A wonderful take on what should have happened after the terrace scene.
A big, big, big THANK YOU to the writers for giving us such beautiful stories. I pray the ink in your pen never dries so that you keep creating the magic and spreading the joy!! 🤗👏
Also, a big jaadu ki jhappi to P (kizh72) and Raji (Saver84) for introducing me to some of the best works this fandom has to offer!! 🤗
