That part seems big blooper from makers.

How could maya take such a big risk?And why?

Why did maya trap rishi with love angel?

Like she could be close to rishi as a guide or a mentor/influencor.

But seeing this mess,I don't feel good.

If anytime,Rudra falls hard for maya,it will again be mess considering the possibility mj being maya's ex bf(Though I am not sure of it)
