I think the CVs are sadist.

As rightly pointed earlier by one of our erudite member , there is a lot of negativism in the environment concerning the show yet many people are devoted to it. In the early 2000 when daily soaps esp sas bahu serials became the order of the day , the mother in law was depicted evil and scheming while the daughter in law was potrayed as vampish..Twenty years on , a reversal of pattern is being seen( rather attempted)... The father in law and the son is now being shown regressive, selfish..

Nevertheless , the torture continues unabated !

The issue lies in taking anything to the extremes.. Too much of negativity and sorrow are being used as tools to increase TRPs...A fine balance is what is required ... Viewers are the best judges ... They need not be fed every telling detail especially about the pathos.. Just as in a good novel , a good author leaves things open ended and lets the reader decipher a few things himself.... Present lot of serials do not do that...

Serials of the 80 s like Flop Show , Wagle ki duniya , chal.navachee vachal vastee etc were subtle , BUT never engaged in explicit sadistic pathos and at the same time conveyed effectively what they wanted to...

For a moment today I thought finally Asavari would grow a spine and refuse to marry that creep in front of Aajoba.

Sadly, that was not to be and we will have to watch this being dragged further upto a sakarpuda.

Why do they have to show everything in an extremely melodramatic manner?

Ajoba - loud and obnoxious. Itke loud ki kanache padade faatateel.

Asawari - good and innocent. Mala tee dumb vatate. Fakta saadi cha padar gundalun ghetla Ani lahan mula sarkha doka side to side halavla ki innocent?

Soham - ekahi changli quality nahi hyachyat

Shubhra - sagla karte te barobar. Actually baghayla gela tar shumbha somya kade lagnaa shivay dusra kahich kelela nahi heene.

Raje - itke premaat ki dusra kahich disat nahi. Business nahi, somya sapshael cheat karto te kalat nahi. Kasla ha celebrity chef?

Main characters chi hee dasha, tar supporting cast baddal kaay lihinar?

Last kityek episode baghun tar itka raag ala aahe, ki asa vatata that Asawari deserves to get married to that awful person. Itka pulka aahe na mhataryacha? Mug gappa bas Ani na radta kar lagna sangitlelya mansashi. Bolaychi himmat nahich pan shubhra la pan bolu det nahi. Doghincha vishwas tya bavlat somya var.

Shubra didn't go out herself initially, and Asavari stopped her later from going, just because they both know k katekors nazar is disgusting. Women understand that. Asavari was just being protective of shubra and shubra was expecting soham to take a stand on her behalf.
