Aren't TRPs directly proportional to viewer appreciation, so it means that people like to watch such crass behaviour on screen. And that is what baffles me the most...have people lost all the sensibility?

Yes NM, TRPs are directly proportional to viewer appreciation (I have my reservations on that too) but people on IF cursing the serial does not necessarily mean the general public hates it too. I know for a fact some relatives and some office colleagues devotedly watch that crap of craps called MNB with great anticipation.

True about MNB. But there are fewer negative characters in that show ( I could be wrong). In AS there is Somya, Aajoba, Pradnya and now that filthy creature.
