Besharam was the most bashed film even before release, it had a new comer heroine with flop songs yet it did around 60 cr u duffer..Ranveer's dad invested in his first film to get him in bollywood. Rest he needed the sahara of his girlfriend to get hits...he even gave flop with Adi Chopra.. says a lot about Ranveeer Singh. Lootera and DDD were lapped by critics yet they both failed..lol the diff is Ranbir's bad films flopped while Ranveer's so called critically acclaimed films flopped..

The first choice for BV was John Abraham...when things didnt work with John Kashyap approached a few other actors, Ranveer could be one of them..but once Ranbir showed interest the film got the budget and the director was more then happy to cast him. I am not really interested in knowing masand or xyz feels about the cast.
