Being a Tamilian, I myself just say ‘Bye’. People generally say ‘varen’ which is the same as ‘aate hai’.
‘Poitu varen’ is a variation of the same. ‘Po’ means to go. It might roughly translate to ‘jaake aate hai’.
It might not mean anything at all since we are talking about the writers of an Ekta show.

It is not in the culture of the Tamils to say goodbye as it could be taken as “I’m leaving you” or worse “I’m leaving this world” i.e. dying!

The norm is to say “I will return/come back again” (“senru varugiren” or “poyittu varugiren”).

The only exception that I can think of is when one is taking leave from a funeral house where either you leave without saying anything or just say you are leaving (“poren”).

Initial yhm mein they didn't waste even a single actor. Every actor was handpicked and every actor was utilised the best way possible👍🏼 The Iyers-Bhallas get together has always been a riot🤣, everyone from both Bhallas and Iyers entertained us😊.

The show is bad, actors are really bad. Maybe I have to watch the show for some more time and then judge it, but bhai, yhm impressed me in a day❤. That was their dedication, one episode is enough to attract audience. YHC failed big time in this area👎🏼
