I read recently that Takht shooting got pushed back to April now. I think it's because of this movie.
I think Inshallah wouldn't have worked any better than a D3, for Sallu.
There was too much of a 'Lolita' theme seeping in, with such an age discrepancy- not sure how Indian masses would have taken such theme....but my guess is that the movie wouldn't have fared well.
SLB just throws around project names and sees what sticks. Whether he likes it or not, he's helped RS but RS has also helped him sustain with good acclaim and BO, too. (Obv, with DP, too). SLB hasn't had a good return since Devdas..until RSDP pairing. So he's playing with scripts until he can attract other bankable stars. Let's see how HE fares without RS.
