Even I was thinking like that....but if Sonakshi's dad is Pooja's father, what is Rohit's concern in this situation. Why does he think its not prudent for anyone to know about the truth in the Sippy family. Then Sonakshi's dad must have some relation with the Sippys. Maybe not familial but in any other way...

I think sona father will be pooja father and it will affect sippy in a way that rohit might have accidentally killed her father which will def affect sona and pooja and hence whole sippy family

This might actually make sense because Rohit keeps getting this guilty look whenever Rani or Pooja's topic comes and moreover Naren asked who Rani was, even if he is hiding his affair, he didnt need to draw attention to himself by getting into the conversation. I think that while Naren was disloyal to Veena, which Rohit hates, this has more to do with Rohit, and hence Sonakshi. He kept asking Sonakshi after Rani turned up that she wont leave him and all, why would Sonakshi want to leave Rohit because his dad had an affair? Her dad is missing, so she obviously cant be judging someone else based on it...
