So it finally ends...😪...and need to make this post today ..since today is the airing officially of the last IshRa scene ever.

Couldn't catch the last epi on telly ....caught few scenes from the last epi and IshRa shaadi on insta..

I might be in the absolute minority or maybe because I had zero expectations...I think I was kinda satisfied that the show ended the way it did ...

It was so obvious the focus would be on ruhis shaadi ....and that the IshRa shaadi was planned only YHC ke liye...

I was simply glad that the last ever scene of YHM had IshRa together in a frame....I think I had long given up hope of even that happening ...so was happy to take what I got...It's true closure

So the stuff I actually liked about the final week of YHM..

SP suddenly showering love on YHM..promos through the tv advts..SM..and through all its other show leads ...true chamatkaar from a channel that hardly promoted the show when it was on air...

And the IshRa throwback ..Raman ki zubaani..they had cleverly pruned and chosen mostly the best parts of the show to recap .....heck even the makers realized they served crap post the Budapest track looks like ....🙄😂.I think this is one to save and rewatch over time ..truly a good goodbye gift...

And of course that short but poignant on set farewell....appreciation and respect for a show and lead pair that deserved it for carrying it on for 6 long years ...👏

Personally , never thought I would ever watch a desi show in 2013...never thought I would follow that desi show for 6 long years in 2019....never thought I would rant about a desi tv show on a forum in 2013...and am still here in 2019...probably making my final post...

YHM and this forum brought out the best and worst in me truly 😊...but it also got me some rare great friends here on this forum..many who I know really well on this forum but might never ever get to know in person .......it's a strange bond..that exists only because of this show ...and for that I am truly thankful......🙏

Thanks for this thread vyas...am going to miss this 'part of my life'....but no regrets and only fond nostalgia and memories is what I would take away ...

That is expected

Anyway atleast they got married

I know I am in complete minority....but I would like to say something

YHM and DIVAN came in my life when I was experiencing the worst phase...I think I already mentioned but wanted to add anyways...I had lost my fiancé to an accident and was undergoing therapy and this show gave me a hiding place..by the time the Mani track got over, I had left country and came back and sort of lost touch and interest in YHM

today so many years later, I am ready with a new phase of my life ,,,,and watching ISHRA pass on the baton to someone else really brought it full circle for me. Ishita looked resplendent as a Punjabi bride and Raman’s happiness seems to come full circle to the sour face he had in their original wedding..

As for YHC, Ekta always does a great job with setting a story...I really liked the bombay and South Indian set up, I am not southie so really enjoyed it.,,.and I feel this too...maybe we must always seek happiness in starting points ...something like how I have learned about life too..

whenever I am down, I remember starting points...becos they become turning points in my quest for happiness..
