Thank you, also I don’t know if it’s a glitch or what, but I was shown as online even when I had logged out of IF. I had to login and log out and clear my browser history a few times to get rid of the circle.

PS: this is not a user friendly option 😔

@Vijay:I am facing the same issue. It shows green circle around my DP even when I have logged out and cleared browser history , cache etc. Plus the green circle looks odd and is very distracting. It kind of discourages people from logging into this site. Can we have the old green button back instead?

You do not need to log out. Once you are off the site for over 5 minutes you will automatically be shown as offline.

We will further improve it when we have real-time notifications and chat so that its almost instant when you close the browser.

Online status option is added to more places so that its easier to know User Online status.

and many other places.

We have reduced the outer circle width and also added a Green Dot to the User Avatar to highlight the user is online.

Next up on our Immediate List are:

1. Allow Emojis in PM Messages. Half work is done tomorrow it should be up.
2. Give Privacy setting option for User Online status, Slam book, Scrapbook, Testimonial.
3. Allow Members to search PMs by Username.
   
4. Also give more options to Moderators Team to control spam and problematic members.

It still looks ugly Sir. How I wish it was just the dot beside the UN. That dot could be red when offline and green when online.
