They've been consistently showing that Sona is not able to trust Rohit. She is able to easily trust the maid, cook, driver, Raima or now Rani. She has struggled through her childhood and taken the burden at an young age. She is a star, but her experiences (even the saree clad, all-in-all bahu she wants to be) have all been fueled by her reel life. She's on the top but she is all alone. She doesn't really have close cousins, siblings she can share her thoughts with or friends (Netra is more a colleague with whom she shares good rapport with... ). She has been alone even during her engagement and wedding. She hasn't trusted any one in the industry, in the family, taken her decisions and earned her place and money. While she conveniently keeps bringing up the promise they did not to hide anything, she forgets that she has not revealed what she was going to do and get consensus.
It'll be really good if CVs can touch upon mental health issues and how to address them, how to build trust openly through Sona's behaviour.
