Green circle

I am sorry for this stupid topic ...But can anyone tell me why green circle is appearing on my dp ? I saw it on others DP too

What is this for ?

I want to know this too.

Earlier dot used to come if account is online, I was inactive for two years . Many feature are changed, I guess this to show if particular person online

It is coming on your account but not on others y ?

In setting earlier we could choose to show or not our online status.

Now even I am fumbling it will take some tym for me to get hang of this new feature

What is this for ?

It is showing that you/ others are online..

I think IF has been updated and added this new feature that whoever is online you can see green circle ⭕️ around their profile pictures..
