Maya and Rudra were pen-friend type lovers. The bracelet is a gift by Maya. They plan to meet. MJ sabotages the plan and goes there in place of Rudra. Then has affair, abuses her, humiliates her and leaves her.

It's a good theory and does connect few dots. I can see MJ copying bracelet and pretending to be Maya's lover but why? Just because he wants to control everything or because he gained more than that. I think it has something to do with her family too. MJ not able to accept her good enough for Rudra must have to mean something. He completely focuses on gain and loss in term of power.

Liking this theory pen friends can solve few issues like age factor and Rydra's hate relationship with his father. Maybe Antara pretended to later help maya I getting justice or something against MJ but at the last minute betrayed her instead due to Mj's pressure.

Maya's mother mentioned to Rudra today that she wasn't always like this. Some incident changed her forever. Also her brother and father are alive, but they don't live with them. This is even more drastic. Her family was broken because of Roys and that's why she wants to break their family.
