Yaa, I watched the movie, the only few times I could sit through a romantic film, idk why i liked it, but according to me, it was good

*The 4 dead bodies in Telengana are a stinging indictment of the people's loss of faith in the Judicial system. The judiciary are making themselves irrelevant and making heroes out of vigilantes and the trigger happy!*

The four rapists are shot dead. The act is celebrated by people from all walks of life – common people and politicians alike. The policemen are borne by the people on shoulders like heroes and showered with rose petals. Everybody is happy and who can blame the joyous people?

The society has been mute and anguished for long. Every father who has young daughters has been helpless, yet trembling with rage. The movie Damini was 1993, so the phrase ’Taareekh pe taareekh’ has been around for 26 years. Yet Nirbhaya’s rapists are still alive and enjoying one petition after another. Taareekh pe taareekh!

The trigger happy cops merely provided the desperate for closure populace with quick relief. They are no doubt the heroes of the day for having sensed the public mood and acted upon it. The four bodies are of the rapists but there is a fifth body that is not visible to many. That is judicial process!

Tareekh pe taareekh is making the Indian judicial system irrelevant. India has moved up to warp speed but the courts still move at the same speed as they did at 1947. They break for lunch and they stop for summer vacations. Summer vacations were meant for British judges at a time when there were no ACs. Why do courts staffed by Indians and in a time of abundant and efficient AC take summer vacations? Summer vacations and winter vacations?

Why cannot courts work in 3 shifts, 24 X 7? Why does the process not change and become faster? If the Passport system can be taken to amazing efficiency with TCS handling all non-critical tasks, why cannot the same done with the courts? Why cannot an Infosys, a Wipro or a TCS run at least a part of the load off the courts drooping shoulders?

If one is remotely connected with the judicial system in India it is time to introspect.

Justice delayed is justice denied.
