I think he forced the girl to relinquish her child(pooja) and her rights on pooja. This makes him a gray person not the kind of person that sona believes him to be. There could be some ant if physical assault also involved in all this. The way he is threatening that woman it sounds pretty nasty actually.

He happened to realise through some source, which they'll reveal later as flashback that the guy, who is Pooja s real father happens to be Sona s Father as well, this is after he has fallen for sona. Nishi saying she has to know, she will be affected and all would be because it's her father.

She will not accept is Maybe because nishi ssid you can't hide this from her and she might not accept him hiding this fact from her. This is the only thing whch makes sense with the dialogues.
