That I don't know, many people like him too, he still has a huge fandom despite so much hate, many people don't like him too, but he is talked about a lot. So, it's a mix of both, I guess.

As expected, Asim's ''middle class'' monologue worked. I feel after that, a lot of middle class people were able to relate to him, hence started rooting for him. Congrats Asim fans.
