Yup he subconsciously grabbed her hand while expressing what he truly wishes for her and then goes into oops what have I done mode haha.

Yup they both were so patient with each other when it came to listening to the other one which is so rare these days people hardly have time to listen even in between relationships. Mostly things happen based on assumptions

I just love the way Harleen enacted Sam’s vulnerability in this bit. The way she hesitatingly works up the courage to reach out and hold his hand back but when he pulls it away, she still tries to act nonchalant and changes the subject to the wine bottles again.

These subtle moments are what make for the repeat value of Veer-Sam’s story. I’m still in love with them after one week of watching and rewatching ❤️😆

When it came to listening, they really had a knack of really really being able to connect and listen to each other’s vulnerability. This is why they just poured out their deepest vulnerabilities and scars in front of each other in a flow without holding back many times.

This looks phenomenal. What a powerful comeback by DP after her hiatus

The way she was watching him in the morning and smiling to herself thinking, "I felt like I belonged" was so sweet

And the mic moment.....lol@ Veer's panic over the situation while she's blissfully happy simply to be able to breathe now

Some phenomenal acting from Vik in this bit too

And I loved the symbolic significance of this bit.....in that moment, Sam literally delivered a new life into his hands and it began to thaw away at the stain of death he had felt on his hands for so long.....no wonder he looked so emotionally overwhelmed by the wonder of life in his hands.

And that is why the breakdown in the cellar again.....he had to go back to the source of it all and let out the pain he had held on to for so long....the dialogues in this bit were so apt....the sense of halkapan as he said after 4 long years.....tears of catharsis.

Finally got to the S1 finale scene😆

I liked the setup with the bench by the lake and the way she comes and sits next to him. The expression on his face as she literally repeats the exact emotions he's feeling.....ek halkapan, being able to breathe again....sab kuch clear dikh raha hai....lol that was the moment when he had a sudden moment of clarity about what he felt for her.

A study in reactions this one is....lol even more so in hindsight after season 2.

The contrast of Veer's reaction of happiness and sukoon right after the kiss to the way the awkwardness sets in when Sam's like, "I thought you'll count to 10"😆.....his expressions right after she says this are especially hilarious😆.....Sam is amazingly guileless on a basic level😆

Jhoota Veer....lol this is what happens when you try to cover up your vulnerable emotions with a supposedly "chill" vibe.

His brain may have understood why she needed time....but his heart couldn't....lol he was hurt that she rejected him....and he lied to her when she asked him if he was hurt...he chose to pretend it was all casual enough for him to get over.....that he was fine with whatever time she needed.....jhoota😆

For Sam's part, she was so involved with getting in touch with her own emotions after so long, she didn't have the bandwidth to try to fully perceive and manage his......lol

This bit really cracked me up🤣

And these bits were really picturesque as wide angle shots
