ALT Balaji and ZEE5’s Broken But Beautiful 2 has impressed audiences with a heart touching storyline and strong performance by the leads Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi. The series revolves around how two broken hearts come together to heal each other and eventually fall in love. However, not just the leads, but supporting characters of the show have also received appreciation from the fans.

Recently, actress Pooja Bhamrrah who can be seen playing Harleens’ bestie in the series revealed an interesting secret about her relationship with the show’s lead Vikrant Massey. It is a lesser known secret that Pooja and Vikrant are related to each other in real life but in a recent interaction with Spotboye, she revealed the details. She shared that she always considered Vikrant as her cousin but in the recent past she got to know that Vikrant is actually her uncle.

Yup, you read that right!

She shared, “Vikrant is my chacha because his cousin is my bua. All this while, I though he is my cousin. But when I met my bua, she told me that Vikrant is my uncle. So I learnt of this only recently.” She also shared that she recently told this to Vikrant, who also didn’t have any clue about it and he was shocked but also happy at the same time.

This was the scene where he keeps asking her many times, "Do you think I'm paagal"? 😆....then he's like it doesn't matter, I'm happy like this chaahe "normal" na sahi.....then later on he's like I can tell you all this cuz you won't judge me....she's like, "Why would I judge you?" and he's like, "Cuz you're not in a position to"😆.....meaning she does paagal harkatein herself toh kisi aur paagal ko kya judge karegi😆

There's also one exchange in this scene where Veer calls Sam shallow when she asks him if Alina was pretty....he toh bluntly called her shallow for saying that but you can see it hurt Sam even then.....which was a change from a few epis before that where she used to say it doesn't matter what Veer says to her, she only cares about Kartik's opinion of her😆

Oh and this was also the scene when Sam told him she finds all these gestures of his for Alina very romantic, not paagal😆.....toh he laughs and makes a face in response and says, "You have a weird notion of romance"😆.....

Atleast someone calling spade a spade. I was so pleasently surprised by both of these dialogues . So refreshing to see that what they are showing isn't glorification of some weird ass notions and expectations. That all this is fickle and doesn't matter eventually like all these frand gestures and talk of aesthetic beauty. I appreciated veer eventhough doing weirdass things accepting that it is no pyar ka some grand izhaar and he is some romeo that something probably is messed up with him too indirectly but he still does it caz that is the only way he knows and can cope with his loss and guilt as of that moment and it gives him sukoon and happiness

They don't even clearly show if Veer saw her directly😆....he just gets out of his car and walks around the front over to the other car to start beating up the guy.

Sam also I guess kinda sees him in a daze as he's beating up the guy but nothing registers cuz she was zoned out that night, so she just walks away....lol

That is why, she only realizes it was him when he reminds her in the convo at the party......but that again made me wonder that if he recognized her all this time as the girl from the accident, why didn't he mention that incident until the day of the party? 😆.....he didn't even mention it the first time he met her as "psycho ex".

I guess blooper then😆 will have to watch it again but to me until now it was like they were destined to be so they didn't noticed these accidental takkars and that was kismat always bringing them in front of each other and them having these not so direct contacts.

ROFL so true 🤣 I was thinking the same thing....iske toh family members bhare pade hain show mein. Lol kal ko mummy papa bhi aa sakte hain cameo ke liye 😆

I think if we view this scene in hindsight now after seeing how the characters changed in season 2, the story was trying to make a larger point about different perceptions of love based on different experiences.

Sam kind of had a more naive viewpoint on love....when she asked if Alina was pretty, she wasn’t trying to fixate on Alina ke looks, it was just Sam’s own low self-esteem and vulnerability coming out....she was at her lowest point in self esteem back then....comparing herself to Kartik’s new gf, considering herself ugly....Veer in a sense provided a jolt to her notions of love and life with his blunt responses. It pinched her when he called her shallow but she still never dwelled on it that long term.

As Veer said, she was a naive mushpot back then with somewhat shallow notions about grand love....generally I have no patience for shallow perceptions, but somehow there was something touching and endearing about Sam’s naïveté also....her soft heart came through without feeling cliched.

And yes with Veer also, he didn’t ever feel like a typical Devdas making grand declarations of love....he simply wanted to hang on to Alina even as he recognized on some level that he was being crazy and unreasonable. But he didn’t revel in it like some paagal aashiq....he found a kind of contentment in it.

This is also the scene when Sam says she wishes that if she ever dies, Kartik also misses her like this. Lol and Veer could only smile in response ki she still keeps hoping for the impossible.

Sam had to go through certain jolts and experiences for her perspective to evolve. She was still discovering herself.

Oh destiny still definitely played a part....yes, they both met many times accidentally but didn’t recognize each other. They were meant to finally come face to face properly that night in his house only. 😆.....all of these accidental meetings were like a hit and miss.

They were trying to show how Veer unwittingly saved Sam a couple of times without even knowing her.

On paper this would be way more cliched...lol but it worked in their larger story in terms of execution.

I still say though that the accident scene was not clearly shot. lol it’s confusing to understand unless you watch closely.

This one is another under-rated bit from epi 8 in season 1...

This is before the wine cellar scene and gives a good build up for how Veer feels unnerved seeing Sam in Alina's place next to his grandmother.

Especially in that second gif....you can totally see Veer's conflicted emotions as he's trying to push Sam away but instantly holds on to her if she does try to walk away....the tussle is so apparent on his face....even Sam notices in this bit that something is different in his eyes.

And then ofcourse, the whole thing unravels when he tells her not to turn cuz Kartik is walking over but she can't help herself from turning to look😆

I find it amusing that the scene begins with Veer imagining Alina with her head on his shoulder....and ultimately it's Sam with her head on his other shoulder after he manages to calm her down from her claustrophobia attack. 😆

Freakin eerie parallels with Shivika scenes yet again😆

This bit reminded me of that scene when Anika is about to put her hand over his on her waist but he pulls his hand back.....

Same way, Sam so hesitatingly reaches out to put her hand over his since he was the one who first held her hand but then he gets spooked when she puts her hand over his and he pulls back😆

She always looks like a child listening to a story when she leans her head against a wall and watches him talking....
