This complaint about writing story characters what not has been going on in this forum from day one be it anupre lover or individual character lovers. I thought now komo is here now we will see something sensible and good story to justify the theme but 👎🏼 bajaj came and again the same result so its like clear sign from makers this is what we will write take it or leave it kind of thing.

I am here because however stupid it is i felt connected to anupre but i have my own reasons for it and similarly, others too with different reasons but the biggest kauti for me is the story and execution. They never speared even a week for dhak dhak romance or never speared a week for office drama in any track. Makers itself is not clear on what they want to do or show and hence we see so much character butchering and bashing every passing day.

You forgot marriages in your list 😆 which tops all the others.

That's what ECHOES my feelings. The story doesn't belong to any specific genre and the half-baked plots: lesser commented, the better.

Needless to say, Bajaj brought me in. People who know me understand my obsession for Unrequited love and Saudade-which is a deep state of melancholy.

So, I could probably never relate to Anupre bits.

Anyway, coming back to @BOLD Oh, the horror!

I can't even explain how miffed I am with the way they treated the marriages.

Gives me a minor headache. Having said that, this is merely a fictional TV show, and I am looking for ways to grow over it.

Haha i do realise it. I thought this will also turn into war zone and have fate like others but we are saving sensible conversation even with different view points and i am glad for that.

I will be honest as a tv show i enjoyed the first track maybe because i was looking for romance in a tv show after long time and not the typical hate love kind. Anurag's character surprised me with his sublet and calm nature. I know you dont connect with i did maybe more to characters as you have mentioned. I was watching tv show after long maybe thats why. But agree i have been dissapointed with how they destroyed the very thing they created at start. I wont say it was anyway near perfect but i felt entertained by watching it so was very dissapointed that couldn't hold of the little consistence atleast with this story.

Since we have better content on web now we always compare and its right do so but i have learned it to just put my mind aside and enjoy and take it positively until i can when i cant nothing will stop me to shut the tv. I am still able to take it so watching it when i wont i will move on.

I have similar story on why i am here like you are for bajaj. I felt something different in anupre and liked watching them still do but, i have my own share of if's and buts i agree its all half baked. I signed up for anupre star cross lover but have been highly dissatisfied with their half baked story telling and not even hold of core characters consistency over a period of time.

I hope you find that obsession for Unrequited love and Saudade soon and grow over this one. 🤗

It was nice talking to you and thank you once again. I know we do have different set of if's and but's and makers have failed all of us at some point with this writting but so its ok with time we will grow over it.

Yeah bg..I am in a state of compulsive action right now.. reading the update and reacting , everyday, when I know it's not worth ..I dont like it,I didnt like it , I wont like it..still there is something which holds me..n that s parth only ..he isnt that bad nor is anurag..

Yeah I understand you're hooked bec of the love story..and different characterizations...I heard a lot of people praising anurag initially...however , I dont find love stories in family dramas specially ekta k..she is known to screw it up.....for me to love a show intensely , the characters must be very head strong and non compromising types..those who sway at the first sign of trouble are not my taste..if I look back , 2 or 3 shows with whom I got over involved with were such ..simple love stories stories also fascinate me..but they have to be emotional..I gave up on itv after the last show which I loved went down the drain but this idiot pulled me back..I would have never ever wasted a minute on kzk if it wasn't him..

Both Bajaj and Komolika are entiled and think the world has to spin in their respective axes. They went in a great length to get the things they desired and possess the thing (including humans)they fancied.

For Komolika she was the temptress, the seductress that no man could resist. According to Bajaj (in Swiss dialogue to Prerna), he could have any sophisticated, glamorous woman he fancied for some bucks. The vanity, narcissismis an integral part of their persona.

Thirdly both these characters are selfish. Komolika was so selfish that she did not even cared that Anurag was engaged to her own sister. She wanted Anurag by hook or crook. Bajaj was selfish but I can cut him a slack here since he wanted Prerna (initially) for his daughter (although the whole thing was negated in a flashback scene when he was shown to stalk Prerna and feed news of Pre’s pregnancy to Komo).

Both Komo and Bajaj are manipulators as both of them were shown to cash on Anurag and Prerna’s weakness respectively and ended up marrying them. Most important is the fact that both of them are attempted murders– Komo tried to murder Moloy as he came to know her secret. Bajaj tried t omurder Anurag twice too…

However, Komolika was an obsessed with Anurag from the very beginning whereas Bajaj’s love for Prerna stemmed gradually. While Komo is still looking for ways and opportunities to harm Prerna to be the only one is Anurag’s life, Bajaj realized that truelove is in letting go and worked towards his redemption (although I doubt if the realization and redemption would come in had Cookie not been hurt and brought home some cold hard facts in front of her father).

However, while Bajaj deeply loves and cares for the people he thinks are his own, Komolika loves no one but herself. For her, her own brothers and sisters are pawn in the greater games she wants to play, Hence Bajaj is grey and Komolika is a vilian....

Finally 😆,

Amazing take on this and it really gives you the jist of what they panned out with those characters. Even manzil and charu naggeted that their characters ended per track on different note.

Just one question

Bold: can you explain me bit more about why you think he was grey character ? I thought really hard about this but i couldn't compare him with any typical grey character through out that track. I felt it was more confusing character. I dont know if grey characters in general justify their every actions or i am wrong in that thought process?

If you can explain it to be better that would be great.🤗
