5-star performances. An a star, it's Madhuri no doubt. As an actor, Manisha's peak is as good as it gets.

I am sorry but wait a second Manisha's performance in Mann is supposed to be great?

OMG she overacted to the max.. one part where Aamir is dancing with a girl and she is watching them was one of the worst acting i have ever seen..

almost as bad as Shahrukh Khan in that movie with Madhuri where he's jealous of her friendship with Salman Khan..

It should not come as a surprise if you are a regular of this forum. Here Urmila/Pooja Bhatt/Manisha are considered better actresses than Madhuri/Kajol/Karisma. Aditi Rao Hydari is better than Deepika. While I agree Urmila did the psycho lover role pretty well in certain movies so as Manisha as the wounded forsaken sacrificial lamb people conveniently forgot how atrocious they were in their flowerpot roles with Khans,Sunny,Ajay,Akki and all. Madhuri and actresses of her stature in 90s might not have done many women oriented movies but in their prime they were offered roles as important as leading heroes in that age and they were able to capture viewers mind with their charisma and conviction. A hamming overacting flowerpot can never win people love. IF ,nothing changes. Underdogs always win.

My opinion is she is a terrible actress and a glorified item girl of the 90s. I’m not forcing my opinions on anyone. Your opinion is that she’s a great actress but it doesn’t make it a fact. Similarly, my opinion of her doesn’t make it a fact.
