I think she has taken real Maya's place .....

How is it possible that her mom didn't know about her being author unless she is good at hiding but is Maya really writing all the novel's herself or there are some other person Maya is just the spectator ..😲

Yeah, we thought it's not her real name but her mom is also calling her by this name. And if MJ had done wrong with her, he should have recognised the name.

Now, it's confirm that the revenge is from lover's angle along with some others.
