Since Sid is the current captain till the task concludes maybe BB asked Sid who will you select as your replacement till the captaincy task or voting is done and a new captain chosen.

And as a result Sid chose Paras's name for interim captain.

Paras being captain would explain why he was hugging and high fiving people but in a subdued manner cause Sid had possibly left the house at the time and so house mood was kind of sombre (can't celebrate too much when someone leaves due to ill health).

And Mahira's hug to Paras did look like a congratz hug rather than a goodbye hug (again in a subdued manner as probably Sid had just left).

Yeah, Nothing is "for sure" this season. Eliminated or not, BB will make anyone they want the captain by hook or by crook. 😆

I knw sana has feelings for both sid nd paras bt as shown in d promo it is definitely for sid. reasons

1. if it was for paras - BB apna popat nahin karega promo mei special air karke
