On the punishment, I have a different take.

Yes we need capital punishment and death penalty.. it will instill fear but I feel it will not be enough.

In such cases what can be done is the perpetrator will get death penalty but the act of killing will be done by the perpetrator family member(mother or daughter). This will fill a such a sense of guilt n scare... Think about it one who does it will not just die of punishment but will go with guilt of making their own family member to do it. Karne ki himmat nahi hogi phir kisi ki... Kuch darte nhi but apne parivar ko aisi saza dene se khaunf Mai rhnge..

Guilt has more impact than fear.

I don't who to share with... Ideally I wish government makes it. Private sector will try to make money out of it somehow. 😕

I agree.....may be the Ministry for women...or the Dept for Womens' welfare....I don't know...I have been out of India for so long.....but this is such a good idea....It would be a shame if it goes unnoticed🤔

People like Koena and Payal are more shitty as a women. How can u even Justify a rape by saying it was just some communal issue. A victim is NEVER asked her Religion before these (I really have no words what to call them) try to jump and take pleasure over pressurizing someone.

Death penalty shouldn't be given to them. NEVER. DEATH IS EASY. Make them live. Burn their Parts one by One, Let them FEEL THE PAIN. Tie them, CUT THEIR BODY PARTS add salt to it.

An open and shut case like this should take only 24 hours to give them the Punishment. Arey ek ko saza deke toh dekho. These Rapists knows they will be spared eventually hence, there is only growth in this Crime.

App will need infra but who will invest in it. Government hi Kar sakti hai. I think PM has a portal for suggestions, not sure, will send there.

We have such a huge population...once a colleague from abroad asked me while commuting... why are are so many people on the roads all the time everywhere....

In US they say it's so huge in some places while commuting sometimes they hardly see anyone on the way.

What's the use of such huge population and also digital era. If we can't put it in productive use.

This is an extreme case, even if death penalty is awarded I wouldn't mind at this moment. But in general, before suggesting capital punishment and other barbaric punishments, people should be mindful of the fact that there doesn't seem to be any evidence to suggest that it works as a deterrent. On top of that, it is arbitrary, inefficient, discriminatory and counterproductive, something which civilized societies (if people want that) should look to part ways from.

Yes they should be punished but it wont change anything just like the Nirbhaya case or 1000 other rape cases hasnt . South asia is simply f*cked with the worst combination of poverty,illiteracy,religion, politics etc

In such cases immediate response is needed hence volunteers from vicinity.

It's not about what police was doing, it is about what is police doing right now, have they found enough evidence, strong enough to get these assholes capital punishment, because this isn't a case of just rape, this is a case of planned kidnapping, sexual assualt and murder, something is enough for capital punishment.

And yes I have signed this petition.
