Elizabeth banks is so funny blaming others for her flop charlies angles. When you cast 2 unknown actresses and kristen stewart whose last hit was back in 2012, what did she expect? Cameron diaz is a global superstar on par with jolie, used to get 20 million salary per movie and had more star power than these 3 combined. And could've grossed more if she came out of her retirement. Just accept u failed with script and bad casting.

Even Deepu couldn't resist. Invited herself to the next superstar's publicity campaign.

This is nothing. Indian men are a whole different species altogether. The way desi society shows off how great we are at keeping families together...the underlying truth is that women don't even have a choice to leave. They get killed, burned, buried, shamed if they even try. The lucky ones escape.

In India, every third woman is a victim of domestic violence in some form or the other according to the NFHS-4 and it starts at the average age of 15 and lasts a lifetime. I can truly say this, people who know the truth about how the big family/joint dynamics makes it hard for women to get justice or a voice will never say 'oh I am proud of the joint family culture in India' because maybe in 20 percent of families women have the freedom of choice and a voice. 80 percent don't. You are just proud of your privilege. Small/nuclear families have advantages and freedom for women. The guardians of culture shame the latter because they know they will truly lose power over the women. But obviously they can't say that so they use the ruse ' Indian culture means families together'.
