I have some ideas, since you were discussing the inception itself, I thought I'll share here. Since Bajaj was just a name and a reboot is about doing things differently, why didn't they keep the name, change the character? Bajaj need not have been a businessman coming for revenge who had to get married to Prerna based on a deal. Mr. Bajaj could have been anyone! A painter, a maverick, anyone, everyone. Someone who showed Prerna that happiness with love is more important than unhappiness with love. This was the essence I guess? He could have been someone who just walked into her life one day, and changed her thinking, and could have left only to come back later. There was no need to try establishing them as a couple in the first go and then ruining it upside down and pave way for some crappy Krish type exit. 𤢠And considering it was KSG they were going to cast, he could have done the maverick + class + pep talk + chemistry everything to the T. If it keeps changing.. in that case tukka lagne wala baat ho gaya.. but sare surveys aise hi hote hain based on a sample size.. so kuch nahi bol sakte
