Sudden twists and turns in Maharashtra politics since last few days are more interesting than any soap operas on TV 😆

My point is not whether it is good or bad. Of course it sounds refreshing.

But then what's the point of being married if those 2 , who are in an arranged marriage, are living in different continents.

Asa nahi ki vegla shahar ahe and they can meet once in a week or month.

I'm seriously wondering. 4 years? Wow.

It sounds similar to those marriages where the parents "choose some nri groom" for their daughter and he flies away after wedding to make money while she's left taking care of his parents.

Not sure how many of us here have had arranged marriage. The thought process and rationale in doing things in an arranged marriage are different than in love marriage. Besides, we don't know how often they meet. I can speak about myself, both me and my brother stay in another country several kms away from Aai-Baba but meet them far more often than those kids who stay in Mumbai few kms away from their parents.

Moreover, not everyone is like Dr. Nene to leave a thriving career and follow their wife so that she can fulfill her ambition.😊

Even those in other states are discussing the same.

Watched Ford v Ferrari. Christian Bale is such an underrated actor. Very good movie IMO.

Isn't he also involved in some shady malpractices? Maybe rumour.

Plus she didn't come back here to act alone right? Recession also hit.

Aso.

I'm strictly talking about long distance marriage. As mishkil said, separation vatta

I watched don special , i agree wt mukta, its upto the couple how to make it work, sometimes u r in same house n cant meet forever. Its very common in indian households esp if husbands hv tranferrable jobs. I find mrunals decision very mature ie both r young tryin to build their respective careers n mrunal doesn't hv any scope in usa so maybe she wants to build her career in india n her husband may join her in india after few years of his work in usa. Tejaswini pandit works in India n her hubby here in usa.

I am not sure but more than 50 percent of couples hv to sacrifice or compromise in intial years to have better future.

I remember in my childhood so many of my friends dads used to work abroad n their mum raised them in india for years before their dad came back.

Even have friends whose dads or mom's work in different cities, countries and they live with one of the parents.

Heck, my own dad has to travel around the state for weeks and sometimes a month or so.

But this is now, after having lived together for many years, knowing each other's habits, having a kid.

This Mrunal thing is different.

Recession doesn't affect some professions; healthcare and law enforcement being some of them.
