Quidditch Tournament!

Before we get started, A maga round of applause to my multi-talented co shepherd/organizer,

Hold up your invisible sleeves as we got interestiinngggg and innovative rounds in your way!Including a guess theme for every round. Yup you heard it right! So, In this tournament, the participants will be divided into 4 teams (with a twist) named after Harry Potter Broomsticks introducing the teams..

The Firebolts

The Nimbuses

The Shooting stars

And finally The Tinderblasts

Let’s refresh with the game concept just in case you are not familiar

You will be provided with questions, all you have to do is answer them in the most expected and common way. You have to think like other members who are taking part in this contest and guess the answer.

Please remember that there is no right or wrong answer. For each right answer you will get one point.

Point has more value than goals. Goals will be considered only if there is a tie.

Here is an example about the same

Question: Which dog breed is the most ferocious?

3 people say Bull Dog

8 people say Husky

8 people say Doberman

10 people say German Shepherd

10 people who says German Shepherd will get 1 point and 10 goals.

And the others get no point but goals only, which depends on how many witches gave the same answers.

So who said bull dog will get 3 goals, who said Husky will get 8 goals, who said Doberman will get 8 goals and so on.

If there's a tie between 2 most popular answers then both will award 0.5 points.

If there's a tie between 3 or more answers then no points will be awarded for this question. Only goals will be awarded.

And it goes without saying that the rounds will NOT be HP related

Since there will be no elimination this season, the snitch will go to the team this time (instead of a participate) and they will be able to use it immediately.

Whichever team scores highest every round, will be awarded with a snitch. The winning team will be able to swap one of the participants from any one from the team. It is compulsory to swap. You cannot retain any member. So once you choose any member from any other team, the same team gets to choose one member from the winning team.

Once a member is swapped, that same member cannot be swapped or demanded by any other team. It has to be always a new member who gets swapped.

For Example

Appy starts with Team Nimbus then she gets selected by team Tinderblasts in round 2 so therefore, she will remain in Tinderblasts till the end of the contest.

Captains cannot be swapped. There will be a round zero and the top 4 participants with highest scores from that round, will become the captain of the teams. They will then get the right to select whoever participate to include in their respective teams. The process of team selection is as follows…

A = 4 points [10goals] Captain

B = 4 points [9 goals] Captain

C = 3 points [10 goals] Captain

D = 3 points [10 goals] Captain

So, now A gets to choose first out of all the participants then B gets to choose then C and then D. Each time they will be selecting one member. This pattern continues till every member is in any one team.

Since Paricarocks already have a snitch from the very first season, she gets to use that immediately. If she is not the captain of the team she can give it to her captain and gets the right to choose any member for her team before the the first round starts.
