So I understand impression is more like relative marking, where you don't fixed percentage out of hundred. Rather you are graded in relation to where you stand compared to others competing with you. Its exactly how CAT exam percentile is calculated. I get it now.
So if highest marks scored are lets say 80 out of hundred so that will be considered as 100 percentile and then every one else will be graded compared to 80 and not 100.
And if highest is score even a 50 out of hundred, in that case everyone scoring 50 are in 100 percentile and rest are graded compared to this.
