The bride is injured, the groom's brother is shot, the whole place is a chaos and amongst all this the pandit says "jaaj maan muhurat khatam hone se pehle vidiya puri kar lijiye" 😂😂😂😂

I found that part utterly stupid and silly 😂😂 why was everyone in this situation so concerned about the wedding 😐 even when sona came to her room she was so badly hurt and raima was like oh you hurt no problem more important is you change and get married health geya bhar mein 😂😂 rohan is shot and he is "bhai tu pehle shaadi karle" 😂😂😂 I am not a Hindu so I don't know about muhurats but would it have been such a big problem if they got married the next day 😐 the bride herself was in such bad condition. They could have carried it out the next day matlab marte marte bhi phere lene honge 😂😂

Btw I liked how they showed that how insensitive and immature the TV reporters are. Tbh irl also the reporters, especially the bw ones are this insensitive.

In hindu culture, if the bride and groom.. In whatever condition they are.. do the pheras... then it is important to finish the mandap rituals like sindoor and mangalsutra... if that is not done.. then it will remain incomplete... The marriage would have been done the next day if pheras wouldn't have taken place... But kyunki phere ho chuke the.. They have to do the other mandap rituals like sindoor daani and mangalsutra.... right then..

Once the pheras are done.. Both the partners are officially husband and wife... There is no turning behind from that point.. It's the new phase of life they step in... And which if left incomplete without sindoor and mangalsutra would be considered a bad omen more than bad omen it's like..saat janam ki kasmein waadein kiye hain..saat pheron mein liye gaye vachanon ko agle pal mein thukraya nahi jaa sakta...... Mandap ke vidhiyaan pura karna is important... In some hindu cultures.. Sindoor daani and mangalsutra takes place before pheras... And in some after... 😄 ( I am not married... It's just that even I keep asking such questions to mom... And she tells me.. ) hindu culture mein mantra, pheras and agni ko sakshi maan kar liye gaye vachan are pious.. If they wouldn't have taken the pheras.. The wedding would have been held the next day.. 😄😃

Sorry as I am not from this religion I didn't know the rules. From the religious perspective it seems right but actually when you see from an outsider 's perspective (such as me) it seems a bit silly because the bride was so badly hurt.

Yeah I know... When sona came into the room... She should have called Rohit or atleast pulki... So that he could do the first aid... Nd then sona could have sat on the mandap... But then nahi raima madam toh kuch aur hi kar rahi thi... 😂😂🤣🤣🤣

Yeah I was thinking the same

In her family she is the closest to pulki so why not at least call him plus he is a medical intern he could have atleast give her some ointment or something. It was looking very inhuman to make her do all the pheras and stuff in that condition

What u said is true but even next day they can't do wedding as they like .muhurt might be one month ahead of 20 days ahead we don't know .

Muhurt is also very important

Also as u said after pheras u have to complete rituals .it's a must

It's not inhuman .she is not dying perse.after pheras rituals can't be stopped .long mantras can be avoided to make it short but sindoor and mangalsutra is a must

Ramisaa I another daunting matter to discuss - muhurat only lasts for 2 hours max. How was it possible for Sonakshi to:

1. First get the bridal makeup done, wear her lehenga with all her jewelry
2. Remove the makeup, undo her hairdo (we saw how many pins it will take to hold it all up), change into simple clothes
3. Manage to get out of the venue stealthily, reach the shooting set (Lets assume Mumbai traffic is zero, which is probably never the case but lets go with that theory)
4. Get makeup done and change into Parvati's getup
5. Shoot for an hour, remove that makeup and change into her clothes
6. Get kidnapped by Mahesh who is trying to force her to marry him - Mahesh finds the time to knock her unconscious, bring her to a deserted set, tie her up to a bed, apply nail polish, change into groom's clothes, drag her to make shift mandap, get busted by some people who are there to check out the set. Hang Sona by the rafter, wait for them to get out while Sona manages to escape, run into streets, find help, get rescued by eunuchs
7. Reach the mandap and in that state manage to reach her room in record time, change into lehenga and sit in the mandap back again
8. After all this complete pheres, then get exposed before, tell them the whole story, Raima gets exposed, Mahesh barges in and creates a ruckus and is finally taken into custody
9. Get a lecture from Veena, get a dressing from her husband, tidy up, put full bridal makeup on with jewelry and hair do and reach the mandap and finish the rituals

Amidst all this, the muhurat is still not over Phew I was tired writing all this down.

Mandy... Muhurat can last for 2 hrs, 3hrs or it can even last for a day... It depends on that days patrika.. I don't exactly know what's it called.. But yeah muhurat can be of more than two hrs too... It is not necessary for it to be 2hrs ..
