You're presuming he will view it logically.....it seems he will view it more literally....ki NB ne bola ab koi bhi help mat karo, let her swim on her own so he thinks I should totally back off and let her swim.

It might also be a case of too much emotion.....he feels if he takes even one step towards her now, he won't be able to stop himself from pouring out all his emotions again.....and he's already pulled back and locked his emotions down again.

They wanted it to be a tragic ending.....leaving the characters with regrets and unfulfillment....these regrets will form a basis for season 2.

We will see him in Manali na....imagination sequence ya jaise bhi😆

I think it's probably the latter.

I wish he would pour his emotions out. Why lock them down? They are the best thing about him. Minnie needs to see it.

I also feel that HS holding himself back from going to Mini in the end or even dropping her off at the airport is because it will make Babita feel alone.....

Maybe he thinks if he shows any support or understanding for Mini in front of Babita, Babita will take it in an even worse manner and create a scene....so to maintain peace, he's saying his goodbyes from a distance.

That is part of the tragedy.....that Babita could never understand his love for Mini either....that even he would be feeling heartbreak right now over Mini leaving....she's so overwhelmed with her own hurt and she takes any "lack of support" for her POV as a sign of "betrayal".....like she did with NB as well....the moment she saw NB is supporting Mini, she turned on her.....she would do the same to HS.

And I guess HS doesn't have the strength right now to deal with it.

I was watching the Amrit Manthan scene yesterday to upload it in the gallery thread....it’s remarkable Deja vu. Something died inside him that day only but he pulled himself together that day to keep going....to step up for this relationship cuz he saw Babita wouldn’t. She would be willing to destroy her love even if it hurts her. Ego would win every time.

And now ego has won over her own daughter too....HS ko toh She’s sacrificed for ego before also but now she sacrificed the greatest love in her life....her daughter. She is drowning in hurt herself but the ego is too big for her to overcome. It paralyzes her.

The other thing that came through in the epi was how much Babita will again fall back into the same pattern of suppressing her pain and then letting it fester like a grudge in her heart for many years. Sigh. She is holding it against Mini ki Mini didn’t come back home with her even when she asked/ordered her to. 🤦‍♀️ And this one point will be her undoing.

Dunno how the HB marriage will look like after this turn of events. Bas upar upar se smile and daily routine of khaana paros diya, ghar ke kaam, thaane ka kaam. But something has definitely died for good in both HS and Babita as well as their marriage. The rest will just be distractions and getting through life.

I agree with everything you said. HS gave us all the hints in that scene. There's only so much one can take.

And after Minnie's departure he will lose even more of himself. It's just sad that he had to lose all this over things that should have been trivial enough to sort but weren't. Very sad.
