The Imarti track would have been perfect for Babita to focus on HS, but alas CVs ko toh kuch aur hi karna tha.

I feel that even with the Imarti track, Babita behaved as she usually would, in her self-absorbed manner. That was not different from how she'd been from day one.

All in all, if you think about it, she remarried less than a year after ending an 18-year marriage with Ashok. A lot of it was indeed on the rebound. She has been interested in her rights but not responsibilities in this second marriage. When HS talked about Amrit Manthan in the police station, I knew that he'd foreseen a very rough time but never expected things to be this bad, i.e. the marriage just being a shell.

No wonder HS' heart is breaking. After all this time he found someone he could potentially really call his own, whose soul connected with his, and who really did get him on some levels (I'd like to think Minnie would have become even more perceptive as she matured), and now it's all just gone up in flames. I truly think that what happened during the court case resurfaced all his pain and even though he put a lid on it, the angst is still within him. No wonder he keeps linking Minnie to Imarti - that is his yardstick.

Yup, and while Hanita should have been responsible in this matter, Minnie didn't help things either by rushing them along. Dheere chal re the, toh chalne deti. She shouldn't have gotten involved. There was far too much baggage for both of them to get through. Babita with Ashok and her own understanding of womanhood, and HS with Imarti and his maiyyi. They really needed time to let their relationship breathe.

Just like Minnie put a lid to her feelings, HS did the same. He never really talked about Imarti and forbade anyone else from doing the same. He really needed to properly mourn her just like Sartaj did.

1. No wonder he lost it when Imarti died. She really was the only one who got him and could handle him. NB saw what he went through but still he suffered a lot in silence.

2. I also felt NB doesn't really get what place Minnie has in his life. In a way, she too has failed him by not actively guiding him when she clearly saw he was lost after the marriage, especially when she saw what was happening to Minnie too. He listens to her, why wouldn't he take her advice?

3.My heart aches this much for a reel character. Can't believe it!

1.I have said this before , among all the people he loves Imarti is the only one to love him back to same extent as he did.

2. He has acted on every suggestion of NB's including opening his mother's room. She was the one to tell him fill it with Babitha's laughter. If she had felt he is going overboard and its harming Mini she should have stopped him. This time there was a janani at home and yet she didn't come to stop him from destroying his family. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ ( waise would she have left Irfan alone if his wife had died saying I won't visit you as there is no janani in your house? ) I too feel she failed him and Mini both by not talking to him.

3. Aap heart ache ki baat kar rahi ho, mera toh dil hi nahi bacha hai dukhne ke liye. Tukde tukde ho Gaye dil ke. Ab toh dard mahsoos bhi nahi hota. Itne aansoo baha liye HS ke liye ab lagta hai khoon hi niklega aankho se. πŸ’”

HS' pain was just too great. Even if HS had taken the time to mourn, he would have needed support. He did not get that from NB and Babita wouldn't have stepped up.

Minnie did rush them but it was up to them as adults to take the reins.

HS should have gotten counselling right when Imarti had died. Family and friends can help you, but they don't necessarily have all the answers nor know how to deal with such delicate matters. Only a true professional can help you out in these matters.

As it is, due to the nature of his job, therapy would be highly beneficial to him.

1. He has always known it and it got proved over and over again.

2. Yes, she failed both Minnie and him. She should have advised Minnie to at least talk to HS when Minnie wanted to point out the issues. Instead she advised Minnie not to get involved.

3. πŸ€— I know how you feel, dear. I'm here for you and I feel exactly what you do.

Yes, exactly. He needed counseling. However it seemed like he was either unfamiliar with such a provision in Patiala or it never occurred to him. It was only when Minnie's teacher came to talk to them that he was eager to understand what needed to be done, but that too only for her sake.

He tried very hard to address the symptoms by filling the void with Minnie and Babita, but that would only get him so far.

Very sad indeed.

πŸ€—Thank you Jean.... today he lost his mother too...

It's ironic that both Mini and HS lost their mothers same day and will be living all alone for rest of their lives. Both of them have lost everything they valued most. Now HS will have his daughter and Mini will have her new life to get busy with . But they will never be happy away from each other.

My heart breaks for both of them.πŸ’”
