I agree segments spoil the whole suspense but the whole trp system has many loopholes.. Trp is calculated by trp audience.. A device called People's meter is fitted and a special remote is given to a selected group of people.. These people decide the trps and that's why shows like KB and KKB have highest trps.. These few thousands decide the trp in whose house this device is fitted and who are given a special remote..

This is new information to me. So even after knowing this, the channels still axe shows based on trps?

The same thing happens in USA also ..there I is called neilson's rating .. actually this is how ratings are done everywhere ..
