Yeah i agree even they were also negative, jo mere dimag me aye mene likh diye yar. And I wanted to mention the ones whose actions had huge impact in leads’s life, like leading to separation n all. The ones you mentioned were also having same issues like selfishness, obsession, vengeance n all. Some were completely black and some were grey , But you cant compare them with Ekta Kapoor ones at all, they come from some different planet altogether.
Through Raghav, Kabir , Aditya, Naman n all they tried to give a strong message to viewers. They focused on particular issues like stalking, pervertness, domestic violence , sibling rivalries for property etc. pick any negative track you will get some concrete message for sure. But this Vedika track is utterly non sense. They arent even trying to show anything which i was expecting. Things like consent of men also matters in marriage , working woman arent subject to be questioned, in laws should not feel threatened about their DIL making a name of herself , one should trust the spouse instead of some other jealous woman trying to create just doubts n all. They aren’t addressing the core issues which lead to this separation, non of the Goenkas are ashamed of their acts. God knows where the story is heading.
There were dark characters in past. Vedika is a typical dark antagonist, considering her manipulation and the extent of damage she has caused in the leads’ lives. If the makers are planning on ending her character with a positive social message, they better do it soon. In quest of delivering positive social message, they have delivered several negative messages in this track... including bigamy, multiple divorces, extra martial affair etc. If Kaira Milan happens again, it will be Kartik’s 4th marriage! I don’t see any positivity in this track. Even if they deliver any social message at the end of this track, it would have lost its virtue.
I have enjoyed cheesy Kaira moments lately, thinking that the story is making a progress. However this Vedika character keeps haunting and springs back, bringing the story to square one. It is close to 6 months since the separation. The drag fest needs to end now.
