Since we are discussing Katy Perry's relevance and lack of chart success here, I think Gaga made a smart move when she decided to switch her sounds and started to experiment. Yes, Artpop wasn't successful but Joann got critical acclaim and she got success through A star is Born as well. If she had stuck to the sound of Fame Monster era, she would probably be having the same fate as Katy by now. I hope she keeps on experimenting.

Why bollywoodiyas are so obsessed with firangis? They throw parties for these people whenever they visit India. I haven't seen any firangi throwing party for any bollywood walla.

No , it's not.

But 'nearly has beens ' from US..whether Hollywood or singers, DO get huge welcome in other countries, countries they LOOKED DOWN upon when they were at their peak! Yet now, when their star is fading, have no issue reaping benefits from concerts/meets with hungry fans.

Nowadays katy struggles to get invites to many important HW events..that's the hilarious pasrt./.. yet in India she was received like she was still in the 'Teenage Dream ' era (which she isn't, she declined a LOT!).

...it would have been best for some famous Indian musicians to arrange this party for Katy..not actors and producers... and rest of celeb to participate but in a less.. formal way...

(I only found Gauri and Anushka act decent..rest were seen in vids kinda hungry to grab attention..or sneaking around trying to look unimpressed).
