Marjaava might do decently in the B & C tiers.

Marjaavan might work if the movie connects with the target audience. If not it will flop.

Panipat trailer did not create the desired buzz and hype for the movie. The trolling may not be extreme but most found the trailer strictly average or bad. Exceptionally positive WOM might get the movie an average tag at best. At worst will flop miserably.

Marjaavan has vibes similar to Ek Villian which should work in it's favour. But again, Sid was in a much better career space back then so this one would might rely more on word of mouth among it's target audience.

Even after claiming very good response, trade is only expecting it to open at 6-7 which is not very high and reflects lost appeal of Sidharth.

Panipat, for one, is a movie that can be either Arjun's Bajirao Mastani or Bombay Velvet depending upon the response. The acting for me looks below par but aesthetics and effects are one of the grandest which might work big time in it's favour if everything also falls in place.

A lot depends on script and promo.

And what audience they target.

might both do good..but it's possible Marjavan willbe the only one doing some bizz..and the other either goes mediocre or flopping..

Ek Villain= Music, love genre and Shraddha. Sid tha, but he wasn't the main draw. even post movie release, the only one whom people loved and it helped in garning some positive reviews was Ritesh's performance. Sid waha ush time bhi sirf tha.
