Is it? But I'm accessing hotstar in Europe without subscription and using VPN. It's working for me. I can only watch one day old videos. But I think without subscription, it's the same in india as well. 🤔

nope i could not... even priya could not also .. me and leena have talked about this some days ago... and a lot of viewers also could not .

Oppo sorry i am quoting you but just wanted to let you know that its been 4-5 months since HS has blocked access to VIP content by VPNs not 3 weeks. Also HS is sucsefully able to block only free unpaid VPNs and not paid ones. Not sure how it is in your country but with correct VPN like touch vpn it work fine even now if you want to watch 1 day old content and not VIP. Also as per my knowledge i am sure they are taking foregien subscription like USA Hotstar into account because its fairly well paid subscription to watch all form of VIP content at the IST time and that has been going on from past 5 months and nothing new.

This sudden increase or decrease is not something new because of 3 weeks of block but but its been going on from 4-5 months now. I think the term online doesnt only restrict to india hotstar now only since its globally used platform and they might have some subscription to views algorithm rule to count the TRP ratio for online as well.

Sorry wanted to add one more thing no subscription works in favour of individual show unless you watch that show and it increases a view count episode based episode. People can subscribe hotstar for anything else too and that doesnt mean its counted in only KZK at all unless you watch it subscription has no effect of TRP or viewers for particular show.

but mine was blocked 3 weeks ago.. even i could not load bajaj's last 2 episodes ... then informed priya and leena , was that only me or not.. later priya also confirmed that . i used various vpn , like set up , hoax , turbo .. but it was not working , i could not watch old videos , not even other shows of HS 😭, even i confirmed my KHKT fd friends , they also faced the same issue that time.. even one of my Pakistani friend also confirmed me that time , she could not access HS with VPN . i think HS recently took steps for south aisian country .. it is my guess .

but isse pehle , i could load vidoes from VIP through Videoder , ab toh normal old video hi load nei kar sakti hu .. only Stream downloader working , but for paid subscriber only...

Oppo its very much possible that they keep updating their blocker list in their coding to block as much content getting pirated as possible some famous and known VPNs before and some unfilimar onces recently. I am my self programer and its very much just coding improvement that keeps the thing consistent so that they can block as many vpns as they can when they come across it from their analysis. Again this is nothing new and doest affect much as long as they get views for episode to calculate they can get a TRP based on that ratio infact from what you are saying based on that it should decrease since many left show few weeks back and now mumber of blocks from vpns have also increased by hotstar but results are in front for everyone to see that some people are clearly watching KZK again last week hence the increase.👍

This could be what's making the difference? 🤓. I use express VPN which is a subscription VPN and hotstar works fine for me. There are times when a video doesn't play but the problem in those cases is more to do with cache memory and not the VPN.

I'm not really able to understand why hotstar is working with VPN in select areas and not in others. 🤷‍♀️
