Toronto's Indian street (called Gerrard street) is comparatively very small but overall there are so many halal restaurants and small eatery stores.

my Floridian family just comes to Toronto to eat. They tell me don’t cook. They have schdules made where they will eat each meal lol.

Nali as in which nali? The gutter or the bone wali nali? Useless (mumbaiya slang)?

Kids used to tease me too because my name is abeer. One boy used to call ape-beer. Ask questions that muslims don't drink so why my parents named me aBEER. My husband thought it was my nickname and that my real name is something else.

The most funny one was when we went with a group to makkah and one aunty in the group never used to remember my name so she used to calm me areeb. She said mujhe naam yaad nahi rehta toh aaj se main tumhara naam areeb rakhriun hoon lol 😆

I agree with you completely, I am enjoying this drama a lot, Seheher's dialogues are really impactful, the way she understands the situation of Zamin, how she confronted Behorze Sabzwari's character and tried to make him understand that, he did wrong, but making her married with Zamin, she can empathize with anyone including Rabia and even she can question Rabia as she does give back to Rabia in limited words, she has the ability to stand her ground

She speaks less ,but her words are really full of emotional depth and she knows what is good for her and what is bad for her, she even had the courage to question Munaiza about her father's past, she knows where to say what

I enjoyed reading the stories you wrote about your names, understood a little bit coz they were written in Urdu.😕 but still managed to know the idea.😆I have a story about my name too. When I've been to Iraq for studdies. My teacher was calling my name thinking I am a male. I was imparrassed.😳 That's why I made sure my daughter gets a female name. Not an undefined one. 😆
