see the fact is even in a dangal contestants are provided with a safety gear but in such 'normal' tasks, which have potential of violence, BB doesnt provide any explicit instructions or safety gear to protect its contestants from getting hurt....and if contestants quit then they are criticized and/or punished by BB and host for not participating in the tasks fully (remember how Paras and Dey were criticized for giving up in the ladder task). So what are 'not so strong' contestants supposed to do? tell me. are they expected to just steer clear from the bully who is given full freedom to unleash havoc and win the task by brute force or are they expected to atleast try - which Mahira was doing. It was Shukla who snatched the bori from Mahira using his brute force. Mahira wasnt snatching bori from Shukla's hand...unless i'm mistaken.

You are right. She was holding the bori when Shukla came to snatch it from her.

If I don't see eye-to-eye with a person ... and if he or she has been an a$$ with our past interactions, I wouldn't apologize to that person either .. they are adults and in a show where they'll be looked after so all this formality of apology to a person you don't like when it wasn't even your fault is nothing but BS imo! .. You can disagree tho!

matlab agar opponent bully hai to khud ko defend bhi na karo.... agar tumse koi cheena-jhapti kare to haath jod ke give up kar do... ki bhai le jao sab tumhara hi hai... aur baad me BB ki daant bhi suno ki apne itna jaldi give up kyun kar diya? 😆

Was it Shukla snatching from Mahira? I could be mistaken myself.

Irrespective of that, Mahira was in a position where she could be compromised and what really can physically not-so-strong contestants do? Unfortunately, nothing much in physical tasks, unless it has to do with pace and speed. If they are mentally agile enough, they can find out ways and means to conspire and strategize and in this case, maybe steal away the seal itself maybe (?) (which could have lead to a radd situation again... god no) or some such. Mahira again, could always have asked to punch the seals, which wouldn't have gone into physical domain. It's all a balancing act to play and know how to play and prove that one has played as well without getting hurt.

In non- physical tasks, they can make up with their planning again. Men/women have to be physically or mentally strong. BB is very rarely the place for an average person. Survival of the fittest it is. The world will always have bullies. I still don't think Shukla is a trueblood bully. He is excellent at ignoring those who bully him verbally. We have had bullies who pursued and stalked and verbally abused and defamed contestants in previous seasons. But Shukla is no a gentleman either and won't let go if he is tickled on his face. He will give back and more.

well u many not apologize but i would apologize to even an enemy if i hurt them unintentionally.... or at least show some concern if they are hurt, unintentionally, by me.

Sorry it was unintentional kehne se koi chhota nahi ho jaata IMO.

I think it's easier said than done! But if you're able to do that, that's how you roll ... but does that make you better than me?! ... Depends on one's perception .. I would call it foolish and lacking self respect while you may see my lack of apology insensitive. Point is there's lot more which makes us human than a flimsy apology! .. (-Again you disagree!)

yes! from what i saw, I saw shukla snatching bori from mahira. initially he used less force but when he was unsuccessful he pulled and twirled the bori really hard ...from Mahira's hand...and that's when she twirled and fell down.

if some chain snatcher or thug snatches purse or something from your hands would u simply let it go or at least try to resist the snatching? some people do try to resist, and in the process might get hurt but IMO they cannot be blamed for resisting the bully cos it was the bully or thug who was at fault for snatching the purse from your hand not the victim for not being able to defend herself. Even the law punishes the snatcher/ thug for snatching purse from ur hand not the victim of assault for resisting then why not BB? (now replace yourself and purse with mahira and bori).

well, different strokes for different folks...

what I understand is that its a basic courtesy and humanity...but u may associate not apologizing or showing concern as being yourself... no harm but being able to apologize for an unintentional harm even to our enemies does show strength of character IMO. No intention to praise myself but that's what i have learnt in life and civilized society.

Calm down, take a deep breathe, and watch it like a fictional show.

It's a game where strength was required. BB like you say sets very flaccid rules. The way this is being made out, either BB should not take any strong people at all or just strong people. You can't ask people to control, unless ofcourse there's actually physical abuse happening. Anyway, I'm done with this. Like you said earlier, there isn't much a physically weak person can do in a game like this. I don't think man or woman needs to give up. I don't think either has the right to cry victimization either. I know I won't ever be in a situation like this at all. But at uni, we used to play soccer with the guys and take it chup chap, punches, kicks, tumbles and all and give back too. Never cried victim. With a bull like Sid, I'd just avoid him altogether and play where I can.
