Most husband wife jokes are sexist. Not to mention far from reality. I have not seen a couple where a husband allows housewife (or even working spouse) to boss him.

I did a quick search to find out how much is the salary of senior inspector in police...and Google says 17000-26000 per month excluding special duty allowance and all that. And cost of living in patiala is slightly more than cost of living in Baroda. Frankly speaking there wouldn't be much money left for savings after paying bills for 3 people.
