To be very honest, I was apprehensive initially about Aamna being previous Komolika's replacement. I had even declared based upon the precap/promos that she has a disaster written all over.

But Aamna has proved me wrong and I'm so glad about it... The way she has sunk into the depth of the character has me amazed. Her mannerism doesn't come off as OTT, her one-liners are bang on and Aamna's biggest USP is that she doesn't make weird faces, nor resorts to rather hasn't yet resorted to inane idiosyncrasies to give villainous vibes.

I won't say she is still at par with original Komolika because Urvasi as Komolika was unprecedented-a class apart. But I can confidently say that no one could have stepped into Hina's shoes better than her. The previous Komolika looked elder than Anurag but with Aamna i don't see much of the age difference between Anulika ( Strictly my POV, not intended to age-shame and has no hidden agenda thereof) . So here is also a big round of applause to Aamna her for maintaining herself so well.

Well being Aamna fan even I found the promos and initial scenes as a disaster and was disappointed for the role choice Aamna made.

But I'm very happy she proved me completely wrong and now nailing it.

It is very courageous of her that even after so many comparisons she is making a mark.

Well KZK2 is the first eve EK Show I'm watching and this is my third ITV Show, except for the few episodes of KZK Season 1, I have watched on youtube.

I am not a fan yet, but if she continues to deliver, Aamna surely is going to get another fan in me. She has soft, feminine features, so acting OTT with weird facial expressions could have simply backfired for her. But she delivers with her acting and mannerisms. The creepiness that she depicts behind that soft innocent face and all that fake sweetness itself is a winner for me.

So, it is but inevitable that she is making a mark- slowly but steadily.

Until recently I was wondering whether the character of komo itself was supposed to be comical or it was made to look like so by the actress. With this return of komo, now komo feels like komo...a shaatir vamp! She doesn't look like a clown making faces or a self-obsessed lunatic anymore. She isn't a loudmouth anymore, she can give you creeps without creating any tamaasha. U don't feel like saying chup ho jaa behen!! Well done aamna!👏

Komo has got beauty, quite decent clothes, make up and jewellery seems to be toned down, she has that grace, the dialogues are well audible, expressions don't bore you or make you laugh at her, her one liners are funny and she's creepy. What else would I want from a vamp? I wasn't sure about her in the hospital scenes, she was trying to imitate the previous actress and it was going wrong. But now she's being herself and is playing komolika the way it should be. Hope to see more shades of komo, more versatility from aamna and even better chemistry with Basu's and Sharma's!👍🏼

I didn't see any post on komo or aamna yet, so thought of making a separate one for her. Hope those who want can appreciate her!

Her background monologues are so funny (except some below the belt ones as pointed out in this forum). They bring the much missed fun element in this show since everyone now loves to see the Basu's being made fools of. Aamna's dialogue delivery is superb! Initially I found her talking too fast at times. But now she has settled into the role, and delivers her one liners slowly and clearlysmiley32 Her laughter is also properly evil!

I also loved her white saree entry and the way she carried herself. Her pastel pink frilly saree was also so pretty, but they didn't show much of it. Unfortunately, they are back to giving her tacky Banjaran clothes with today's red ghaghra. Hope they go back to sexy sarees for her.

agree

this komo is better

outfits n jewels is just perfect, no OTT

No making faces

better voice modulation

imp thing - focus is on anupre as they r the leads, sonalika getting apt footage but no extra space stealing like the earlier

Thank you for this post. I feel the exact same, Aamna has really impressed me and I think after the way we weren't satisfied with Hina's portrayal on this forum, I'm glad we've got a vamp who doesn't pull attention from AnuPre but stands on her own and comes in between them in an effective way. Also I like the way they're writing this Komolika's dialogues and the way she delivers them particularly her inner commentary when she has to be fake around Mohini and Nivedita. Hilarious and fitting for the ungrateful way they've behaved with Prerna. The clothing has improved, the mannerism less clownish and she's a fun vamp and her stalkerish, crazy, unhinged self masked with this whole fake persona that's just dying to burst out and totally tear up all these people especially the Basus, who I think definitely deserve it, is so entertaining to watch.
