I haven't watched Malaal e yaar but from the promos, Zain's character belongs to a different school of thought.. his abducting the girl is not really surprising.. there is scope for redemption

Umair was a different story.. I hate myself for watching that show to see fate oc Umair and Zoobie and despise the writers for that pathetic end.. which woman on Earth can forgive a guy who raped her/ questioned paternity of her kid/ called her characterless in frOnt of everyone/ accused her of vomiting Zina/ manhandles her during pregnancy and forces her to prove her purity by going through DNA?!! And forgive him only because his mother died?!! What in the world?!!

I am certain they will not make Daniyal fall tgis low

Daniyal and Alizey were friends and comfortable with each other, have similar view of life style so socha zindagi guzar jaayegi.

Daniyal pal pal royega pal pal tadpega for Zara but his ego won't allow him to go to her.

Alizey will be rejected by Daniyal i am hoping so but she will stick to him in the name.of friendship and continue to poison his mind against Zara.

Zara Daniyal ki FIRST wife hai

Zara is the FIRST one to make him a dad

The child will be his FIRST born.

Alizey if you enter his life you will always be Second.

Rather disappointed with the way things progressed. Honestly, now that I think the only episode I enjoyed was 19th one - the red sari episode. That one scene made me stick to it. I kept coming episode after episode waiting for the writers to explore the spark, the chemistry.

Nahi, but yahan ke writers ne pledge le rakha hai aisa kuch karna hi nahi hai.

I am disappointed in Daniyal as well as Zara. Zara's under confidence I can understand but Daniyal, the guy never tried enough honestly.

The mother in law seemed to be forever advising Zara on how to win the heart of her husband, she said, Daniyal ko uske mazi ateet ka tana mat dena , mard ana ka masla bana dete hai, why didn't she say the same to her son? She should have given some tips on how to win her daughter in law's heart.

Plus, why did Daniyal keep giving Alizey his time of day. When he knew about Zara's insecurity, why not try do something about it. And no he didn't try enough.

Many a times, I thought he wasn't really into this, but didn't have a way out so continued with it. Like there was always this polite distance he would maintain, could be his ego working.

He sub consciously kept comparing both the sisters, when she asked him to drop her home in the last episode, why didn't he, a few minutes it would have taken him and if he had taken a few seconds to look into his wife's eyes he would have been able to recognize her fear, as well as her need to re-affirm his love and vows to her, you can't do that much, you aren't a good husband, IMO.

That comment of his, Alizey jaisa ban na hoga tumhe, was callous, proving all of Zara's fears right. Think about her mental trauma.

As for Zara, she was too much drowned in self pity most of the times, I noticed she always felt the need to impress her husband(cannot blame her, it was the circumstances in which they were married plus everyone she trusted thought she would need to win her husband) like every time. Aapko sardi ho gyi chalein vapas, kyu? Because main Alizey jaisi nahin ho, mujhe aapki fikr hai, she felt she needed to keep reminding him she was different and he meant a lot to her...

I wished she had shown more spunk, made Daniyal know that he was as different from her as she was from him, and he needed to win her heart too and I wish she had not treated him as some prized object whom she had to win and keep away from her cousin. Treat him like a person, an equal one at that. She should have shown Daniyal that there was much more about her than just the traditional values, and not so stylish dresses, if only he would be willing to discover them

I was hoping for Daniyal instead of falling for her because she said he meant a lot to her, I wished they would have shown him trying to get KNOW the real person, she wasn't a stylist woman like Alizey, but someone with deep passion for poetry, with a mind sharp and intelligent, heart soft and caring for her loved ones and excellent cook, something like that.

I don't always compare but so many a times, I was reminded of Khirad and Asher. The woman had a hell lot of insecurities but she had maintained her dignity at all times and never let them consume her which so happened in this case.

Huh!! Rant over and finally my heart feels lighter.

I wanted to ask you about this one, do you need to pay attention to this one, ya forward kar kar ke dekh sakte hain? I'm so far behind, I only watched the first couple episodes, lol. Apparently, while I wish the dramas I like came every day, in reality daily dramas need more commitment from me than I am capable of.

After the abduction and marriage I had to first ensure he didn't force himself on her, because that would have been deal breaker for me, I kept watching but couldn't understand, because in Paki serials they don't show anything and just one day good news aa jati hai, but the sofa thing had me grinning, I thought chalo there's still some scope for redemption.

Getting to be interesting now whether he gets the second marriage and realises what an awful wife she is. I doubt it and maybe Zarah will not know and will think he married again . So many avenues they can follow.

On my feed dil e janam came came up recently and there she had a miscarriage so you never know where they take things. It's a soap so I doubt they will go onto show her going onto further education etc and really becoming something but you never know.

But I am so looking forward to Daniyals scene where he will pine for her and regret what he has done... that fight scene was amazing .

Wonder when he will know about the baby and what he does or will they hide it away from him !

Agree! Fight scene was superb. Yes, I want him to realize Sara's importance and pine for her real bad.

Same here! I didn't think they were together like that but you never know until they confirm it, lmao. Like this drama suddenly good news, good news.

Balaaj is an interesting character. He's only physically imposed himself on her a couple times and each time it reminds you that he's keeping it to the petty passive aggressive level that she can fight him back on.

Anyway, back to this one. I think I may have to catch up and see how I feel. I guess I expected that they'd have had more time to build up some sort of an understanding before her cousin became an issue again.

i dont mind forced marriages i find them intense as long as theres no abuse...in yaariyan they thought rape is acceptable just because the couple was married...maybe its just me but i cant evenn ship a couple if a guy manhandles a girl like even slaps her. Anything physical and the couple is over for me.

You are asking the wrong person as i have only seen 5 episodes

im only watching this show as a guilty pleasure Sammi...maybe you can just watch daniyal zahrah scenes and skip the rest...it depends what youre watching this for lol
