South especially malyalam and tamil make equally realistic movie's, telugu movies are catching up too, kanaada too time and again do great movies, content wise yes south is making sensible movies along with formula movie's.

My suggestions would be

Ko

Jigar tanda

Vada Chennai

Rangitaranga

Nanum rowdy dhaan

Adivisesh's any movie for time being , will add others if i remember names

How'd u find it?!

SPOILERS

Watched it on Amazon prime. Was thinking of watching the dubbed version but the title of the movie had me in splits and I rushed off to watch it in original .. šŸ˜†

Movie wasn't bad .. tho don't know how but I guessed all the twists and turns right from the beginning including the girl being the spy and dad being the villain (-Tho I liked this twist since most movies don't aim for such an angle).. Also I wanted to shake Gopi for trusting a random stranger and giving off all his details .. who would do that after joining RAW, without doing any background check when he knows the risks associated with his job! .. Found that aspect extremely silly esp her ditto mirrored feelings about not having parents ... should have been "red flag" right there! .. So found it a bit lacking but overall a decent watch! (I also liked the action portions they weren't OTT and looked realistic)!

Yes! Their stories are so much better. In fact nowadays Bollywood has stopped making good movies with a good story. Everything is remake or biopic. But if you watch a South Indian movie you will find the script very engaging and every story is a new one. Nothing is much repeated. Even if you don't like action, there's romantic, comedy, family drama (this is a very famous category among the south movies) or thrillers.

South Indian cinemas are better than Bollywood movies that's the reason why there are so many Bollywood movies which South Indian movie's remake.

I was not expecting the father twist. I wss doubting Sameera in the beginning but when she got shot I was thrown off track...then I gasped at my own stupidity 🤣🤣

Sameera mirrored the story since she is a psychologist...pretty smart. But kya hai na, sundar ladki dekhke common sense went down the drain šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

The action was brilliant. I loved how there werent 100 cars blasting and stuff. And the actors were all great in their roles.

Agreed. Even if the themes are the same, the story is completely different. I enjoy the comedy films equally.

The surprising part is that I have not had a crush on an actor from Indian cinema...and I developed one on a South actor šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I thought when she died it was just a set up and that she'll be back! But she really did die ..

Ofc psychologist but the guy was dumb .. someone supposedly intelligent training and learning on how to uncover and tackle humans, him trusting her blindly was shown stupidly! I bet people who work for real RAW wouldn't even trust their spouse with their reality and job duties .. so the entire romantic aspect of the movie was bleh (I think South is huge on romance angle)!

You got any other rec's?! .. Such thriller movies with realistic action I like!

Well I do agree south films are better. You have to watch fidaa of sai Pallavi, it is one of the best romantic films made. Bollywood would take years to come with a female lead like the makers of fidaa did. I guess the movie is available in hotstar and Amazon prime. Do give it a try.

Vikram Vedha is also a great watch. I even liked Mr perfect of Prabhas. Comedy wise you can watch o baby in Netflix . There are two kannada movies which I recently watched in net

There are two kannada movies which I recently watched in Netflix both were great and different. Urvi which deals with cruel reality of human trafficking of women and shuddhi which puts a question on how juvenile law is misused in india. Do watch that
