So many good dialogues....again one of those scenes which reiterated the essential character traits that set Anika apart....the fierce sense of independence...not being used to taking help from anyone...always used to facing life on her own, wiping her own tears, healing her own hurts....considering help or sahaara from anyone a sign of dependency....of weakness.....and the way Shivaay would temper it by pointing out the difference between 'sahaara' and 'saath'.....so many lovely gems scattered across this journey......it's these traits of theirs that kept me hooked for so long.

I was even feeling nostalgic for the weird camera angles and extreme close-ups that Lalit Mohan saab used to bless us with😆

Desi harrypotter Thanks but no thanks mere abhi itne bure din nahi aaye. I am seriously contemplating not renewing my hotstar at this point because well all they have is bakwaas on every star channel on daily basis and movies i can torrent. This is just isn't worth it given how their shows are getting worse and worse and worse with each say passing koi ittu sa bhi decent kuch nahi hai on daily dramas scenario on any channel. I had times wheb i watched everything on all channels or a lot of them at the same time caz haise bhi tacky cliche ott hote thay aajkal ki bakwaas se toh bohat better thay overall shows bhi aur actors bhi aajkal toh superficiality bhi dil laga ke nahi karte ya ott . Actors hi ghatiyapanay ki dukaan hain when it comes to their so called skills and techniques koi ek bhi aisa nahi hai banda kahe ke isme kuch baat hai

So true....it's so very rare to equally love both sides of a pair for so long....usually a story butchers one or the other pretty early on and most people just keep watching out of habit...."tolerating" one out of the two.....but with Shivika, it never felt like that....I was never "tolerating" one for the other.....the feeling of wholesomeness, that heartwarming feel came from both of them together....they both made that whole together.....it was never complete without either of them......and then yes, humara Sahil....sigh

Thoda toh twinge feel hua mujhe yeh scene dekh ke ki kya the, and kya dhabba banaa diya inka in redux.....then I told myself not to think....lol....redux was a pathetic joke anyways.....it doesn't count for the originals.

LOL the Hotstar subscription is dirt cheap so I don't mind cuz they have a decent collection of movies to watch plus old shows hain like IB that can be rewatched there in a good print😆

New soaps toh mostly trash hi hain inke.....I barely bother with them....but them most of ITV is in that state nowadays....hardly any show worth bothering with.

We definitely got lucky cuz we have such a long journey to savor and revisit with such a RANGE of scenes for Shivika.....no other fandom ever got this lucky😆

So true. It is a journey to savour and I am appreciating it all the more now. Jab show on air tha tab kafi baar surrounding randomness ne bahut pakaaya tha although the Shivika pull was strong enough that I never ever managed to completely quit. Now that I am no longer face-palming and head-desking over those things and raising my BP and frustrations like I did at the time I am recognising how much there was to cherish especially when you tune out the baki annoying things. Shivika scenes have so many gems many of which were at the time underrated.

That last gif of both of them with is love. 😍. So pyaare they look.

I find this bit extra endearing....the way he kinda pats her hair as they both turn to give embarrassed smiles to Sahil😆.....itna naturally kiya flow mein Shivaay ne....and the look they shared just before that.. ...these little touches were what made Shivika....

AY Redux ki to baat hi na karo. I just pretend like it didn’t exist. I don’t think anyone could relate to those characters. Anyway those were alien Shivika. Farzi wale. Although I kept watching in the hope that they would turn it around and go back. But just as well they didn’t. At least the real Shivika remained untouched.

LOL so true, jab show on-air tha, we were banging our heads over SO many things in frustration😆.....you must have some idea having read our old threads....itna khoon jalaaya aur BP high wigh kiya🤣

Ab soch ke bahut hassi aati hai.....like for example, with this scene, I remember cribbing about SO many things....I was irritated that they put her arm in a sling aevein randomly😆.....cuz the sling magically disappeared later in the epi....lol ...then the scene after this was Anika sitting with Sahil and saying it's only DOSTI between her and Shivaay and I was like HAIN? Then why is she declaring stuff like he needs to say uski dhadkanein tez ho jaati hain and all? lol tab itna frustration hota tha over any slight inconsistency.....ab lagta hai ki un cheezon pe bhi kyun pick kiya......😆.....hindsight mein it all panned out well....but yeh tab nahin pata tha na.....lol

Especially your frustration with DOSTI😆 . You were so annoyed with Anika 😆. And jab bhi especially Anika used to something random or inconsistent tumhara BP kitna badh jata tha because you wouldn’t connect with her then. 😆 It’s amusing now but I can imagine how frustrating it was then. And DOSTI toh I think everyone face-palmed at.😆 Especially considering the scenes that came before 😆. I used to get frustrated even while binge watching alone. So watching real time must have been so much more frustrating.
