No difference. Some people just having a hard time accepting that SRK is so loved. It is like this every single year. Even official accounts like Wikipedia have wished him in previous years saying stuff like "happy birthday to the world's biggest movie star."

As for liking attention- they are actors because they love attention. That's the point. Some don't get as much as they want and have to seek it really hard. SRK gets it easily.

It was ODD.... very ODD to me... ofc you are entitled to think or see however you want... I posted that in the morning... I thought I was the only one... but then read Cotton's reply...
