I think that’s a little far-fetched. He isn’t acting negative, he just looks stupid, gullible and not taking things Rhea tells him to do seriously. Ranbir isn’t the most far-sighted person to see ahead how his actions will have consequences.

The CVs are not revealing Rheas true colors to to Ranbir. If he knew how bad Rhea is, he would immediately hate her.
Yes the current Ranbir doesn't deserve Prachi at all but I am hopeful when he gets to know about Rhea he will start to hate her from heart.
