Valid point!!! Perhaps, DT doesn't emanate external exuberance in the initial episodes of YHM and presumably there is a reason... The custody novel depicts Ishita as a homely woman and this line is translated onto small screen as well..

For the same reason, Shagun is one ravishing lady with a crippled heart ( wasn't demonized in the novel though). Most importantly the makers in the initial episodes made it a fight between narcissism and altruism. And an altruistic Ishita sporting diaphanous, non existent, sleeveless blouse would be the wrong sartorial choice 😅🤣😂

The other reason have a correlation with Raman as well..He was lured to the external fragrance of Shagun that was ephemeral.. Understandably, the CVs pounced upon the axiom, "All that glitters is not gold" to differentiate between the likes of Ishita and Shagun..Raman knew Ishita wasn't perfect and he doesn't want her to be... Remember, the party scene after Amma's accident, when Raman blurts out that he made a blunder by choosing perfect looks, reinstating the thought process of makers at that point of time..

Raman loved her soul rather than her flesh..To him, she was/ is the most beautiful lady, mother of his children.. Finally, the characters are carved in a way that made DT look simple wrt AH.. Shagun isn't cut out to be a Mother ( even today) that aligns with her dressing style as well.. Contrastingly, Ishita is the eternal mother, the ultimate Ishima who needs to satisfy certain putative traits (stereotypes)..

However, over the course of duration, Ishima has been given a makeover..IshRa look stunning during the Budapest track and of late, DT is tantalizing, especially during their spoilt anniversary celebration this year..

U r valid with ur point on ishita being made to look homely becoz of the novel...in the initial days of yhm.

For me im leaving ishita’s looks to u(u have explained all that why dt was made to look like that😳)

But still now i adore that sweet innocent looks of dt as ishita with that chudidaars salwaars and sarees with simple makeup and after leap she was made to look horrible thats what im trying to say

And about digressing my topic plz dont say that I always want more of urs and queen’s posts to read about ishra’s love for eachother,u two have pair of eyes or cameras i dont know but unexplored love of ishra comes from both of u,one explains through raman’s point of view and other through ishita’s🙌🏻
