Unpopular opinion but I really wanted to watch the show but I couldn't bring myself to it. It was too boring and a snore fest for me.

I was just interested in taha and husn e jehan's love story.

Alif deals with an important issue which is why do ppl drift from Allah, and how to make them restore their faith in Allah. But I wonder why did the writer chose the film industry background for its leads!😕Is it because industriwale are always accused of lack of faith, as we see many ppl bash actresses on social media! or does the writer chose this filmy background to attract viewers because it offers more entertainment, or for another reasons. Coz it doesn't make sense for me as someone pointed here before that Momin chose to become a director when he hated his mom's job!

I think if the story was about middle class ppl who struggle with life , lose hope and all, it would've touched the audience hearts easier, coz it would've been more relatable. 😊 I can relate to Sajal and Momin's dada😒. But Momin, I don't really care!🤔

i think the reason of choosing film industry is obvious...modelling aur acting has a lot of demands and esp from girls requires them to be shameless

I agree, but interestingly here the directors are shown more badtameez and shameless too.🤓.

Anyways I liked how his fiancee gave him a piece of her mind, I am impressed because she wasn't running after his wealth or position, she herself is a successfull designer. 😊and she demanded his respect , It was unexpected twist.😃

I feel that there are of course actors and actresses who are not religious but there are a lot of actors and actresses who are close to Allah. I feel like it is wrong to show that just because you are an actor or actress you are going to drift from Allah because it is the industry you are in. I disagree because it is about the person himself, not the profession of acting. Being close to Allah is on you, not the job you are doing. There are many actresses who do good roles and cover up too and do not expose.
I agree about the middle class part, which is why I like Jo Tou Chahay cause that is the concept and it is more relatable.

@red ..It is very rare in Film industry.🤓That's why there are many Pakistani actresses who stay away from movies. Coz they need the actress to be more bold. Wear certain dresses, look glamorus , dances and hugs.☺️Allah ordered women to wear hijab, and watch their behavior with na mehrams.😊Zaira Waseem wrote about how she felt her Film career will drift her a part from Allah. And it shows the amount of tussle actors feel while doing this job of acting. We saw how Momina felt when she had to let go of her dupatta for the audition. It is very tough . But yes. In your heart you can remain your faith on Allah. 😃

Yes. JTC is more relatable, but the main story is taking a long time before it starts. I hope they handle the regiolous part well.😊

its realistic...producers and directors do have a lot of demands especially from new comers...i think they have to sacrifice a lot if they wanna get fame

im not saying all celebrities are shameless as i know there are some decent ones too but they have to be even more careful because the industry is a dodgy place and its very easy to get brainwashed
