Hopefully Desigal can come upon this tread and explain it better. But your rib cage has 24 rib bones, 12 on each side. The bottom two on each side aren’t attached to the sternum (the big bone in the middle, what you feel when you press in the middle of your chest with your fingers). So it’s either the very bottom pair or the bottom two pairs that aren’t attached get removed, supposedly. I don’t know if this is even doable, and if it has any long term side effects or not.


First time I had ever heard of this was years ago when a rumor started that Janet Jackson had done this in the 90s to shrink her waist.

It's illegal in the US, but I had it done in Mexico. They break the floating rib in the back and push it in, so there's no scar." in an interview
