Arey no no, you're right! LOL I just went back and rewatched the Friday epi ka last scene.....HS did indeed say ki koi blood relation nahin hai....she just belongs to the same village as him but there's a lot of love and affection between them.

Really yaar, this man is blessed....despite the many tragedies in his life, he's been blessed with so many nice dil ke rishte.....NB hai, Lala hai, aur ab yeh Sattu Chachi bhi.

Once again the thought strikes ki what khel destiny plays....it had to be him only who could form that unique bond with Mini then....aur koi nahin kar sakta tha....he opened that door for her to form all those other special guardian bonds in her life like with NB too.

But later in the epi, she was talking about how Mini khaandaan ka naam kharaab karegi toh it sounded like she's from the same khaandaan as HS only.

I guess I'll have to go back and rewatch to catch this.

She was just referring to HS' khandaan.
