The latest promo shows a guruji handing over a powder to Shobha in a bid to cast spell over Anna so that he listens to and acts as per Shobha. Now isn't this regressive..Atta hee Andha shraddha nahi ka? When they need to justify stones raining over the roof or shevanta speaking as Patankar , they play up some non sensical logic... But when it comes to blatantly showing Andha shraddha and superstition they are very candid and open about it!

Kai chalala ta Kai kalat nay.,..Paan sagla changla hoil.,.. Sums up the episodes at this stage... Shevanta is certainly scheming against Anna... This episode she makes it clear...One thing which ofcourse is entirely my perspective.... Incase shevanta wants to avenge patankar's death then why is she so scared ? Spirits know everything ... Then why is patankar's spirit trying to scare his own wife ?

I saw the Friday episode. Wonderful and natural acting by Shobha, aaba Naik, Sarita in that order. Especially the scene where aaba convinces shobha to throw away knife and return home. Also Sarita expresses lot more with eyes and facial expressions than dialogues that she knows lot of things but can't speak. Kudos to RKC team for such natural performances and natural atmosphere in konkan house.

I would recommend , Jhanvi Achrekars book Wanderers All in which she has beautifully captured the essence of konkan and weaved a story with konkani customs traditions, etiquettes as a backdrop ... The novel is set in the early 19 th century...
